More flights to launch connecting Var to Paris

Passengers flying between Toulon-Hyères and Paris are set to have more options from November, with Transavia adding two return flights per week on the route.
The additional services were announced by François de Canson, vice-president of the Région Sud, on September 20.
The airport has since confirmed to The Connexion that the new services will start in November.
Transavia already operates flights between Toulon-Hyères and Paris-Orly on an almost daily basis. The additional services will give passengers more flexibility, particularly for those looking to travel to Paris and return to Var on the same day.
The exact days and departure times have not yet been announced.
The announcement comes as Toulon-Hyères airport works to strengthen its air connections. Passenger numbers at the airport fell by 19% in 2025, according to actu.fr.
Transavia took over the Paris-Orly route after Air France left the route in 2021.
The airport said a press conference will be held in the coming weeks to provide further details, including flight times and fares.
For existing flights in November return fares are currently around €200-250.
