Protestors came together across France on Saturday as eight cities held rallies against US President Donald Trump and his administration.
The third of the No Kings protests against Mr Trump saw 3,300 events worldwide, including eight in France.
Around eight million people were thought to have attended globally, one million more than the last protest in October 2025, although there was no official counting.
In Minnesota – a focal point for protestors following the death of state residents at the hand of ICE border enforcement agents – US singer Bruce Springsteen performed at a rally.
Alongside a focus on Mr Trump’s domestic policies, rallies highlighted the current conflict in the Middle East, which has led to global instability and rising fuel prices.

Eight protests were held in France, including in Nice where around 285 people joined a demonstration on the Quai des États-Unis.
Elsewhere, protests in Lyon, Paris, and Bordeaux also saw strong turnout, with protestors carrying placards criticising the US President.
"We are absolutely delighted that more than 1,000 people throughout France turned out to participate in a Global Day of Defiance against Authoritarianism," said organiser of the protests in Nice Leila Meresman.
"All of the protests were truly inspiring and showed that America cannot belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires or those who rule through fear."
"We hope the impact is that Americans living in France will exercise their constitutional right to vote... 2026 is a critical election year," she added.
