Diesel prices across France continue to drop, but variations remain between service station operators. 

The national average price for diesel on Thursday dropped to €2.291 per litre, according to the government’s calculation, down from a high of €2.398 per litre one week before. 

TotalEnergies remains the cheapest station, with prices around 8c cheaper per litre than the average.

Shell service stations are charging prices around 20c per litre above the national average however.

Petrol prices in France have remained largely unchanged in the last week, hovering at around €2.090 per litre for SP98 and €2.047 to €1.996 per litre.
