Jet2 to return to Bergerac and expands UK routes for summer 2027

The low-cost airline Jet2 has confirmed that its Leeds - Bergerac service will return for the summer 2026 season. 

In addition, two new services to the Dordogne airport, from Manchester and Birmingham, are set to launch the following summer. 

Currently, all services are scheduled to begin in late May, and run until the end of September. 

The routes will see weekly flights on Saturday between the three UK airports and Bergerac. 

Tickets for the Leeds route are available to purchase on the Jet2 website. 

Flight prices vary, but usually fall between €120 - €160 one way, although some drop to €42 or rise to as high as €271.

Seats for the 2027 services are also available to book in advance.

“This positive development confirms Jet2’s long-term commitment to the Bergerac platform,” said Bergerac airport’s head of communication Sébastien Lopez.

“It follows ongoing cooperation with our partners and strengthens the visibility of the Dordogne–Périgord region across its key UK markets.” 

“The early planning for 2027 helps local operators (tourism, car rentals, accommodation, airport retail) to anticipate and prepare for a well-structured summer season,” he added.

Ryanair Stansted service now available to book online 

The airport has also been bolstered by the return of low-cost rival Ryanair for the summer period. 

The airline pulled out of Bergerac as part of an axing of winter routes in France, however the airport was confident the carrier would return for the summer season. 

For several weeks, the Ryanair website had been erroneously showing an option to book tickets on a daily service between London Stansted and Bergerac, but when travellers attempted to buy a ticket they were shown a message saying they had ‘sold out’ on all days. 

The issue has been rectified, and tickets for two services per week (Wednesdays and Sundays) are now available to book on the Ryanair website between the Dordogne airport and the airline’s Stansted base.

Running from March 29 to October 21, the tickets begin at €43.99 one-way.

No other routes between Bergerac and the UK are currently offered by Ryanair, however the airline has not finalised its summer schedule so these may be added in time.
